Actor James Reid has recently made rounds on social media after a video of the actor spread online. This was because of the strange sweetness the netizens noticed between James and a hunk man next to him.
The video was apparently taken during the actor’s celebration of his 29th birthday. His friends can be seen having a good time, and after James’ birthday speech, he unexpectedly approached and k1ssed the man next to him, which makes the yells of his friends grow louder.
It appears that the two are in a relationship, given the reaction of their friend as well as the gesture of the actor. The video immediately garnered mixed reactions from the online world. Some immediately questioned James’ gender identity. Some even speculated that the man he k1ssed was the actor’s rumored boyfriend.
Meanwhile, a few days after the video went viral, a friend of James’ who happened to be at the actor’s party spoke up. He said that the guy James k1ssed was James Thomas and that the two were simply friends and business colleagues.
James Thomas was also celebrating his birthday at the time, along with James Reid. He claimed that the k1ss was just accidental.
It is also not tru that the two are in a relationship because James Thomas has a girlfriend who was also present on the said occasion. 
James’ friend said,
“We’re so amused that you’re happy for James’ “new relationship.” Sadly no, this is James Reid and James Thomas birthday celebrations and Careless Complex. James Thomas is James’ business partner. Together with Jeffrey Oh, their the BIG J’s of Brooklyn Industries Group, which multiple ventures in music (Careless Music), video/TV ads productions (The Finest), food and beverage business (Notorious Concepts) and farming (The Freshest and HydroHub).”
He added,
“James Thomas’ girlfriend was present during the party too, so don’t get too excited for James Reid yet.
“Happy 29th Birthday, James.”
