Vice President Leni Robredo issued a statement in response to recent online att@cks not only on her but also on her family. There has recently been scathing mal!c!0us videos claiming that VP Leni’s eldest daughter, Aika, was present. The family’s lawyer has issued an official statement, saying that anyone who spreads this “fake news” will be held accountable at a campaign rally in La Union on April 12, the vice president gave a brief interview with a member of the media who were present.
She reacted to her family’s handling of these types of political tactics, which she claimed were not new to her.
Her vice-presidential campaign in 2016 was dogged by all3gat!ons of deception.
“Hindi ako nababawasan noon kasi lahat hindi totoo. Ang tingin ko ang nababawasan noon ay ‘yung mga napapapaniwala niya sa kanya,”
She also noted that ‘Lawyers for Leni’ is currently acting on the !ssu3.
“‘Yung mga lawyers will take legal actions. Pero ako, kami ng mga bata, we refuse to be deterred by mga gawa-gawa na ganyan,”
“At dahil dati ako lang ‘yung focus ng lahat, Pero ngayon na gumagalaw din ‘yung mga anak ko para tulungan ako pati sila biktima na,”
“Kung paano sila lumaban ngayon, ganoon din ‘pag nakaupo na sila… Puno ng kas!nungal!ngan, puno ng dum!h@n”

Last October 7, Robredo declared her candidacy for President of the Philippines in the upcoming May 2022 election. Senator Kiko Pangilinan will be her running mate for vice president.
