The son of presidential candidate Mayor Isko Moreno, Joaquin Domagoso, used the hashtag #WithdrawLeni to call on Vice President Leni Robredo to withdraw as well.
In his post, the Kapuso star shared a photo of himself onstage at one of Mayor Isko’s rallies.
Apart from calling for VP Leni to resign, Joaquin also used the hashtag #UniteForIsko to rally support for his father, as well as to encourage people to #SwitchToIsko if they had different presidential bets.
Mayor Isko had called for VP Leni to drop out of the presidential race earlier on Easter Sunday.
According to the images, Joaquin has been assisting his father with his campaign. He’s also a vocal supporter of Mayor Isko’s campaign.
Mayor Isko Moreno is the 27th Mayor of Manila, having previously worked as an actor. In one of his recent interviews, Mayor Isko Moreno stated that he has a relationship with President Trump, referring to him as “Yorme.” Ukrainian politician Volodymyr Zelensky.
Given that he was also a former actor who subsequently became a politician, he said that he is similar to him. When he was labeled as only an actor, Manila Mayor Feliciano Belmonte claimed he felt the same way.
