We all know that some of the most important investments in working abroad are diligence and perseverance. Another aspect of working abroad is a longing for your family because you are separated from them.
Because of his diligence and perseverance, one of our Filipino compatriots is now reaping the admiration of social media for his successful fulfillment of his dream. This Filipino is John Andrew Dangca, 25, of Das Marinas, Cavite.
After being picked up by a close relative, John Andrew began venturing and working abroad at the age of 19. Andrew’s life has been difficult abroad, as it has been for others, because he frequently feels ‘homesick,’ missing his family.
Andrew overcame his “homesickness” because he wanted to help his family. Andrew worked as a Janitor in another country to support his family in the Philippines.
Despite his busy schedule, Andrew was able to study and complete the course he enrolled in. She balanced work and study and eventually graduated, which led to more opportunities and a position as an assistant in an aged care facility.
Despite having a better job, Andrew continued to work as a janitor. Andrew doesn’t just do one job a day because he wants to be able to send more money to his family in the Philippines; he does it all.
Andrew even told a story about how, due to the amount of work he did and how tired he was, he fell asleep in the car, which was his only rest because he would be directed to another job after that.
Andrew can say that his life in Australia has been difficult, but he has gradually realized his dreams as a result of his hard work, diligence, and perseverance. First and foremost, he relocated his family to Australia, where he has also established a business.
In Canberra, Australia, he even opened a restaurant called “Salu-Salo.” Andrew’s company has been in operation for many years and continues to thrive.
Andrew’s perseverance has certainly paid off, not only for himself but also for his family. Andrew’s story is an inspiration to everyone because, as a result of his hard work and perseverance, he and his family now have one of the best lives in Australia
